At the risk of being tracked to their booted minivan Nancy and Andy decide the family must split town. Consequently Silas must leave behind the dream of college life. After Shane's kidnapping Nancy attempts to get her son back by going head-to-head with Cesar in a Skee-ball "Hall of Fame" museum. Elsewhere Andy Silas and baby Stevie sit at a nearby diner formulating ideas on how to help Nancy out.
Nancy decides that her family has seen enough gunslinging for a lifetime so to lighten things up she takes them to a Montana fair.
Andy and Silas enter a butter-eating contest while Doug looks after the baby and makes friends with the carneys. After acquiring an RV Nancy lets Andy navigate the road and he leads them to Pioneer Town a former western movie set now turned off-the-grid scab city. While Nancy attempts to get the lay of the land she instructs the family to set up a mobile hash making shop inside the RV.
Andy and Silas work on getting laundry machines while Doug and Shane try to obtain water. Nancy is met with yet another roadblock when baby Stevie gets sick leaving her and Andy to scramble to find a pediatrician. Meanwhile Silas Shane and Doug are tasked with unloading some merchandise at a kiddie concert.
Nancy attempting to score some big cash returns to her hometown where she takes up residence with Warren an old acquaintance. Andy and Doug try to secure information on where to locate fake passports. Meanwhile Silas and Shane curiously dig into Nancy's past. Nancy trying to get herself and her family out of the country is continually faced with unexpected guests from her past.
Andy has to get creative in order to secure passports while Doug must find his own means of obtaining one. Meanwhile Silas deals with the possibility that Lars could be his father. Shane is left to deal with Warren who is becoming unhinged. Nancy has a tense one-on-one sit-down interview with Vaughn.

Meanwhile Andy and Shane lock down a place to live. Silas scores a modeling gig. Down on Wall Street Doug is offered the job of his dreams. Nancy pursues a job at the office where Doug works while Andy has found himself in a romantic situation that just might be over his head.
At the loft Shane tries to set up house while Silas attempts a partnership with Nancy. With the help from her lawyer and Silas Nancy returns to California to continue her custody battle against Jill. Meanwhile Andy's polyamorous relationship takes a bizarre turn. Shane decides to give college a trying by enrolling in classes.
Back on Wall Street Doug must make due without Nancy around. Nancy confronts an old friend leaving Silas caught in the crossfire. Back at the loft Andy comes up with a new business venture and turns to Shane and Doug for help. Nancy sells pot at the hedge fund company softball game while Doug plays on the field.
Meanwhile Andy has the grand opening of his new bike shop while Silas begins to distribute pot out the back room. Shane is offered an internship with a local police detective.
When Nancy is visited by her ex-cell mate Zoya things get complicated with her supplier Demetri. Meanwhile Andy and Silas battle over the use of Andy's bike shop while Shane gets an education he never expected. Nancy and Andy try to fight off Zoya as she attempts to take over the bike shop. Meanwhile some local rival dealers approach Silas and Shane offers Nancy help with her competition. Nancy Andy and Silas attempt to strike back at Emma after she deals them a bad business blow.
Meanwhile Doug has to keep his hedge fund up and running despite an unexpected set back and Shane ends up a lot closer to the law than what he expected to be….
In an attempt to further expand her business Nancy follows Doug and Andy to East Hamptons for the weekend. Meanwhile Silas tries to win Emma back after having a rough business fallout and Detective Ouellette brings Shane along on a drug bust.
Nancy and Silas face off over who controls their drug business while Andy tries to mediate. Meanwhile Shane goes to lengths to win back Detective Ouellette's trust while Doug tries to keep the SEC distracted from his hedge fund's illegal activities. Silas betrays Nancy while Shane makes one last attempt to protect Nancy from Ouellette. Back on Wall Street Doug and Whit come up with a plan to keep the hedge fund alive. The victim is rushed to the hospital after being shot with the family following close behind.
They grapple with the tragedy and hypothesize on the shooter's identity. Nancy recovers from her bullet wound and makes a few friends and enemies during her stay at the hospital. Back at the house Jill's husband interrupts a romantic Andy and Jill. Silas maintains an unconventional affair with Kiku while Shane makes new friends at the police academy.
Meanwhile Doug and Whit are pitched new business ideas. Nancy and Silas chase after Shane who has discovered the identity of Nancy's shooter. Andy attempts to bond with Jill's daughters via Roller Derby.
Doug and Whit come up with a new plan after being fired from the hedge fund. Nancy plans a family dinner while tending to her pot business. Andy and Jill agree to watch over Stevie throughout the day. Silas befriends a local pot grower while Shane invites Angela his classmate over for family dinner. Back at the house Doug makes enemies with the neighbor's dog. Nancy's attempt to raise money for Stevie's soccer fees tempts her back to her old ways as she battles to finally leave the drug business for good.
Jill uses Doug to get revenge on Andy. Shane and Angela go on a double date with Ouellette and his wife. Meanwhile Silas's friendship with R. Nancy is ready to get her life back on track and starts anew with a job search. Jill drops a bomb on Andy and Doug. Silas must track down the location of his stolen plants. Shane uses his superior intellect to make some extra cash at the police academy.
Nancy and Silas start their new legit and highly competitive jobs. After graduating from the police academy Shane gets an assignment. Andy seeks employment at the local Jewish temple. Meanwhile Doug's reckless spending comes to a complete halt. Nancy gets promoted and takes on new responsibilities.
Silas and Shane both start their new jobs. Doug recruits homeless people in an attempt to legitimize his scam charity while Jill breaks some upsetting news to Andy. Nancy and Silas are approached with a new job opportunity. Shane does something reckless to impress Angela. A dejected Andy offers love advice to Rabbi Dave and his students. Doug tries to keep his fake charity - and restless homeless group - from disbanding.
Nancy meets Rabbi Dave's friends during an awkward Shabbos dinner. Nancy, Conrad and Celia go out to a club and things heat up between Conrad and Celia. At Marijuana Anonymous, Andy meets the attractive Sharon and convinces her to be his sponsor.
